Welcome to

The okay

project

A movement to remind people it’s okay to not be okay, but together we will be.

The Okay Project is a grassroots movement aimed at bridging the divide in humanity, bringing people back together, and checking in on our friends, neighbors, and communities to ensure that everyone is Okay. We will utilize storytelling, alongside redemmed ambassadors and creatives, to help end the stigma surrounding mental health, advocate for those who are struggling, and better equip communities with education, resources, and tools. Our mission is to uplift and support individuals who deserve grace and second chances.

This initiative is inspired by a powerful and hopeful song (I am not Okay) that resonates with people worldwide with a simple but profound truth: "It's Okay Not to Be Okay, but together we will be."

"I Am Not Okay" is the latest chart-topping hit performed and co-written by Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum-selling artist Jelly Roll. The song is co-written by Ashley Gorley, the most successful commercial songwriter in history, along with Taylor Phillips and Casey Brown.

The Okay Project is co-founded by Jelly Roll, Ashley Gorley, and Miles Adcox—three friends who are using their collective experience and passion for storytelling and mental health advocacy to create a grassroots movement. This effort is fueled by creativity and has the potential to make a significant impact.
